The first-ever mention of hearing loss we are aware of today lies in an ancient Egyptian medical text from 1550 BC known as the “Ebers Papyrus." While the Ebers Papyrus mentioned a hearing loss remedy made of olive oil, bat wings, and a few other unworldly items, you can rest assured this year's Hear More will introduce you to much more practical solutions to say the least!

Practicalities
GN Hearing will bear the costs of your hotel stay at the Steigenberger Nile Palace from February 16 - 20 (4 nights). Max. two rooms allowed per partner.
The best way to reach Luxor is by plane - either directly from your home country or by transit through Cairo.
Book your flights the soonest! Flight availability may be limited due to high tourist season in February.

Steigenberger Nile Palace
Steigenberger Nile Palace, with its own boat dock is located directly by the Nile River, and approximately 10 kilometers away from the international airport. The Valley of the Kings and the tombs of the pharaohs are located on other side of the river, about 26 km away from the hotel.
No other city boasts as many well-preserved monuments from Ancient Egypt as Luxor.
The main points of interest are Luxor Temple, located directly on the Nile, and the Karnak temple complex. Prepare to be wowed as you stride down the Avenue of the Sphinxes and admire the Great Hypostyle Hall in the Temple of Amun. The city with its imposing temples stands to the east of the Nile. On the western bank lies the famous Valley of the Kings with the royal crypts, including the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Centrally located on the riverfront promenade, Steigenberger Nile Palace is an ideal home base for exploring Luxor.
